Here's a video that's been getting a lot of buzz lately. A Roosevelt man has filed a complaint against the Utah Highway Patrol after he was tasered during a traffic stop.
Jared Massey refused to sign a speeding ticket back in September and says the trooper used excessive force. The trooper defends his actions saying Massey refused orders when he was told to put his hands behind his back.
Take a look at the video and you tell us. Excessive, or justified?

... a shoe addict. It's been a while since I blogged with y'all so I thought I'd ask for some advice on my latest and, quite frankly, biggest problem at the moment.
I have a serious problem with shoes. Instead of buying new clothes, I buy new shoes -- because your shoe size never changes. Just this week, I bought four pair. I know I don't need them, but I just can't say no. For example, I went out a few days ago looking for some black boots. Now, by male standards, I already had a pair of boots so I technically didn't need them. But, the boots I had were brown, so by female standards, I needed some black ones, too. I found a really great pair of ankle boots on sale for $30, which was really a steal.
The problem is, a day or two later, I decided that I wanted some black boots that were cut a little higher so I can wear them with dresses and skirts. (It's still dressy, but a little warmer in the winter time.) So last night I went out shoe shopping again. Problem is, while I was looking for boots, I found two really adorable pairs of black heels. I'm still trying to figure out how I talked myself into buying the heels, actually. I already have a pair of black heels, so I definitely didn't need them -- especially not two pair. But they were way too cute! In my defense, I happened to find a gift certificate to the mall that I received last Christmas, so both pair only cost me $7. Now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure that was my justification. But, I still didn't have any boots, so I bought some at another store. Three pairs of shoes in one night? If that's not a problem, I don't know what is. I've actually convinced some part of my mind that I need to have every color of heels made. My biggest issue, though: I prefer my earing my beat-up comfy sneakers over my adorable heels or boots any day.
I know this story sounds like a stereotypical woman, and I'm sorry ladies, for undoing some of the progress we've made over the years. But has anyone had a similar issue? And how do I break the habit?
