Those California people again. Rep Adam Schiff. Author and sponsor of the proposed resolution for the U.S. to recognize the Armenian genocide by the Ottoman Empire in 1915. Why? Well, we just need to be on the "record" that we "recognize" it; and to give us credibility to such people in the future like Jammerhead Ahmadinejad; and to let everybody know we are "understanding and sensitive"to such issues; and to lend us an equal credibilty right now, as we seek such genocide condemnation in Darfur---and ....
Can you believe the B+ull @#!$.?
When i studied civics many light-years ago, I don't remember this sort of crapolla being part of what our Central Government was supposed to do.
I guess our reps and senators don't have enough to do up there, so they find an issue.
Of course the Armenians have been trying to stir this pot forever, and it comes in real handy now and I am sure they gleefully will dance about when our relations with Turkey as an ally, both politically and in the war effort, will be tainted by our passage of such a resolution.
1915-Turkey, was a different country and a different time--for Pete's sake!
Let it rest. No, the Armenians ain't gonna. They done wriggled into bed with Sister Pelosi and her gang. And they gonna have a paaaar- teeee!
Now I can understand why the Serbs always stayed so psssed off over there.--with all the whining and pot-stirring.
BTW, one of my grand-mommas was half American Indian. So, can I get ME a resolution ?---of "some sort"? --you think?
----bullys..crappies.

I am still cogitating about this info. I rather doubt if anything I say will change a heart or a life, but one never knows.
