If peddling religion in movies and children's literature is acceptable, what's wrong with selling a directly anti-religion view? We could use more rationality and less superstition in the world. Drop the whole "I know the will of God" pretense, and you lose one of the most persistent and pernicious reasons there's so much hatred, strife, and killing in the world.

The current "war on terror" is entirely in response to a fanatic band of religious radicals who devoutly think they're doing as God commands them. It never ends if our chief response is to fanatically cling to a contrary interpretation of divine will to oppose them.

Justifying all the hatred and killing to a rational conscience is not nearly as easy as it is to a conscience instructed by Scripture that it's righteous...
