Yeah, I called it Polack Day. I'm a Polack, so what.
This is the one day a year, I feel like we (the Polacks) can actually say something, so here it goes.
Ya know, we sit here, day after day, and relate ourselves with the White Caucasion crowd. That's what we check on our job applications. But how many other polacks see that look when an interviewer or anyone else tries to say our name? I've seen it, I'm sure alot of people have seen it. But what do we do, we generally laugh it off. Hell, half the time, we have better Polish jokes than non-Polish people do.
So my question is, why do all of these other groups that have been persecuted through history get so much more consideration than we do? Probably because we've accepted the stereotype and worked our asses off to overcome it. No, we were "enslaved". But we were scheduled for extermination. Which one is worse? I guess that's a matter of opinion.
Maybe if other "opressed" people put their nose to the grindstone and worked hard instead of bitching about how hard they have it because of their heritage, they might find the world a little easier to deal with.

Custody case is over. Let me self get screwed over by the lawyers so the kids have to stay with her for now. With any luck, I can get them before they start high school so I can get them back on track and not watch them become a statistic.
