God grant me
the serenity
to accept the things
I cannot change,
the courage to change
the things I can,
and the wisdom
to know
the difference.

One day Jesus told us the story
of a widow in trouble, you see.
She begged a judge for help
but he simply ignored her plea.
This judge had no time to be bothered
with the poor lady's problem that day.
He didn't care what she needed
or what God had to say.
But the lady kept on trying,
For she wanted the judge to hear
her plea for justice and help,
so she called out loud and clear.
She knocked on the judges door
and pestered him night and day.
Then finally the judge had to listen
to what she had to say.
Jesus said we should pray
in a pestering kind of way.
For unlike that selfish judge,
God wants to hear what we say.
So don't you ever stop praying,
and know God always hears.
For God really cares about you,
and is listening for your prayer.

THAT'S JUST HOW JESUS IS
You know sometimes
life doesn't seem fair
Like when your'e down and out
and friends don't seem to care
But let me tell you something friends
That doesn't always have to be true
There's someone whose love never ends
That is Jesus, whose always there for you
Yes, Jesus loves you every day
and every day He hears you pray
You pray for love and lasting joy
and He is there casting joy
Yes, that is just how Jesus is
He washes away our every sin
and when we die, He lets us in
In His mansion in the sky
Where He comforts those who cry
I hope you know, that's just how Jesus is
"When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive-to brethe, to think, to enjoy and to love."
