Caucus Night Consensus

There appears to be an overwhelming consensus occurring in Iowa. When asked which choice voters would like most to see added to the list of Republican choices, the overwhelming response was, “None of the Above.”

On the other hand when asked what choice voters would most like to see added to the Democratic list of choices, voters agreed “All of the Above” would be most appropriate.

Yes, but when asked "Which candidate of either party would you like to see in the White House?" the overwhelming response was "None of the above!"

Which just goes to show that America is still in a 48-48% party split and none of the current candidates have yet distinguished themselves.

November will be interesting.

I wish we could hold elections a bit earlier, with a "Do-over" option to make the Parties change their menu offerings.

Just a wild, totally untenable thought....

People are great! I love animals. Humor is very important as are tolerance and compassion. The “Golden Rule’ is good and “There but for the grace of God go I,” is true. My faith defines who I am as a person. I always learn a lot more when I’m listening than when I’m talking. Sometimes my humor and fingers run ahead of my brain so if I ever personally offend anyone, please smack me upside the head and tell me so. One of my all time favorite quotes is from the television show “Frasier”. “Civilization's not going to progress one iota unless someone points out when peoples' manners are remiss.” Daphne Moon. If I had to choose a movie which most paralleled my life, I’d be torn between Prince’s “Purple Rain” and “Forest Gump”. "Feather" from "Forest Gump" and "Purple Rain" are the theme songs posted on my "about me" page at my website. My life has been a wild and adventurous ride filled with laughter, pain, glamour, heartache, and joy. From one minute to the next, life never seems to be the same as the day before.
