I got this card for Christmas from a “Republican” friend of mine. She said as soon as she saw it, she thought of me.

I've seen it. It doesn't take much to demean anyone and the Democrats are as savvy as Republicans in doing so…

Well it's particularly easy to poke fun at Incurious George: A good little monkey, and never very curious. The Man in the Yellow Hat (a short, fat, bald guy instead of a tall, thin one) found him in a forest, brought him home to the big city, and got him in 'way over his head in one adventure after another. ;-)

The question is, Bugs, what about that reminded her of you? Me, I'd understand perfectly...

Marks, I agree. Both Democrats and Republicans have great sense of humors.

Daniel, I hear ya’. I had to laugh out loud when I read SMU_Ben’s blog where he apologized for not being around a computer more.

LMAO Grimp…you don’t know how many times I think of “Curious George” when thinking of our current president.

My friend knows how I feel about “Neocons”; she also know my opinion on the whole intelligent/evolution debate, and she knows I enjoy a good laugh, but when she told me that the card made her think of me, I wondered the same thing.

PA, I know I’m not losing my mind. I got an email notification that said you left a comment. I was showing 4 comments, but yours isn’t here.

Did you say something naughty?

Bugs

People are great! I love animals. Humor is very important as are tolerance and compassion. The “Golden Rule’ is good and “There but for the grace of God go I,” is true. My faith defines who I am as a person. I always learn a lot more when I’m listening than when I’m talking. Sometimes my humor and fingers run ahead of my brain so if I ever personally offend anyone, please smack me upside the head and tell me so. One of my all time favorite quotes is from the television show “Frasier”. “Civilization's not going to progress one iota unless someone points out when peoples' manners are remiss.” Daphne Moon. If I had to choose a movie which most paralleled my life, I’d be torn between Prince’s “Purple Rain” and “Forest Gump”. "Feather" from "Forest Gump" and "Purple Rain" are the theme songs posted on my "about me" page at my website. My life has been a wild and adventurous ride filled with laughter, pain, glamour, heartache, and joy. From one minute to the next, life never seems to be the same as the day before.
