John McCain sings "I believe I can Fly" I believe I believe, after leaving another "Parsley" day on Capitol Hill.

I'm not "Grammstanding" I will balance the budget in four (4) years.  I'm not "GRAMMSTANDING" I will bring home the "troops" in four (4) years.  I'm not "GRAMMSTANDING" at all.  I will turn a 2.7 trillion dollar "Republican GOP/GOD" budget deficit into a 648 billion dollar a year "SURPLUS."  I'm not "GRAMMSTANDING"

I know we lost 62,000 jobs to "Privately Held Oil Companies" "Privately Held Foreign Companies"  I'm not "GRAMMSTANDING" we will have "nuclear jobs" if you have a Nuclear College Degree.

After George Bush's two year moritorium on "substainable" energy, I'm not "GRAMMSTANDING" when I say we will be independent of "HUNT OIL" "EXXON OIL" or Middle East "HUNT OIL" from the Kurds in the North.

Because if it looks like "Schmidt" it is "schmidt" Because if it smells like "Schmidt" then it is "schmidt"  I'm not "GRAMMSTANDING" we've been through worse!  We've beaten bigger odds.  I'm 72 years of age, out-of-touch in regards to the "economy" but with the help of great lobbyist who formerly ran ENRON and the "average american" I can.  I believe I can even without dot.com or an American Dollar!

Big "HOOMEETEEWAH" to you too!  John McCain isn't "GRAMMSTANDING" Rick Renzi is!

I saw this on another site...Hmmm

From the Huffington Post

Steve Rosenbaum

Sun Jun 15, 11:20 PM ET

When the Republicans choose their candidate on September 4th, there is a very real chance that they could throw the election into an unexpected chaos as they pull a genuine September Surprise.

I think there is every reason to believe John McCain won't be the nominee. Ok, let me say that again. McCain will not be the Republican candidate in November.

Here's how it could happen:

At some point in mid August, John McCain will announce that he has decided that he can not accept his party's nomination for president. The reason will be health-related, and that may turn out to be the truth. Anyone who's seen him on stage these days knows he looks like he's about to keel over. And anyone who's been on a presidential campaign knows the physical demands are grueling and can be a challenge for a young man.

But excuses or facts hardly matters. He won't be accepting his party's nomination.

The reasons are simple. He can't win. Now that Obama is the presumptive Democratic nominee -- the polls all show that McCain's pro-war stance and Bush endorsement make him a lost cause in November. That combined with soft stand on litmus test conservative issues make him an unpopular candidate among the base. I know some Democrats that think the Republicans are planning to let McCain lose and 'sit this one out' so that they can hang the democrats with a bad economy and a war that is a morass. But that just isn't how they play. They play to win every hand -- think about 200

think about 2000 with a popular Democratic president and good economy and a solid VP running for president. Why did they put up Bush? And why did they fight so hard? Because, you don't ever throw a game. And they're not going to throw this one.

McCain won't be the nominee.

By August, they'll have done something to try and pick away at Obama's popularity. They'll emphasis race, or whatever they can to get him to appear less than perfect. Then, they'll bring out of the woodwork a surprise candidate who can shift the story fast. With just two months before the election -- the new candidate will have little time to be 'vetted' but will be shiny and new, and will get a lot of media attention as Obama's newness will have become -- by then -- tarnished or at least no longer the surprise that it has been as he unseated Hillary.

So, who will be the Republican candidate that faces Obama in the fall?

I've spoken to a number of friends who -- when presented with this set of facts respond: "but they don't have anybody else." That's simply not the case.

Joe Trippi, campaign consultant and most notably Howard Dean's campaign manager, said of McCain dropping out: "While crazy, this may be the best shot they have."

There are a whole list of Republicans who in many ways are more likely to energize the Republican base. One thing is certain -- there are candidates that will play to the core issues in ways that McCain simply can't.

Is this supposition? Sure, but one grounded with enough history and observation to take it beyond conjecture and into the realm of the possible

I relate to "GRAMMSTANDING" to Phill Gramm former Enron Architect on how to screw America out of billions and billions of dollars relating to ENERGY. He wrote the ENRON BIBLE and he is now John McCain Economic Adviser!
Grandstanding on a platform that robbed america of billions of dollars, so whenever he is reading from the teleprompter from the left, he is "GRAMMSTANDING" and whenever he reads the teleprompter from the right, "ALL BETTS" are off from the San Pedro River through the Yavapai Mountains.

Here's Obama!

I read he was Caucasian-Arab American because of his blood-line.

But possibly made a mistake when they spelt his name.
If it's O'bama
.... then maybe he is Irish!

Where do these clowns get their information, on a crystal ball? Polls are not elections, McCains health is tip top and Obama still has done nothing to convince me that he is viable. Cagevoter sounds to me like he (or she) got caught doing something wrong and now it is every Republican's fault. The liberals would have let it go without discipline.
Powerfox is just spreading more rumors from another blog which must be the one with the crystal ball.
How about we stick to the facts!!!

So you want change:

Two years ago:
1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.

Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we have seen:
1) Consumer confidence plummeted;
2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $4.00 a gallon;
3) Unemployment is over 5% (a 13% increase);
4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate (stock and mutual fund losses);
5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars;
6) A little over 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.
7) We are now importing over 40% of the oil we need from the Middle East.

America voted for change in 2006, and we got it!
Remember, it's Congress that makes law not the President.
He has to work with what's handed to him.

Thank you for the CHANGE Sen. Harry Reid and Rep. Nancy Pelosi.

The rules! 60 vote majority is what changed! Thanks to the Congress prior to the great one we all share today! 50 votes plus one wasn't enough.

I think Congress is doing a great job in light of not being able to even hold meetings during the past two Republican Held Congress. We have hearings, we have accountability or the QWEST for accountability. Otherwise King George and Dick Cheney would stole your money, freedoms and your naturalization and really gave it unto him! Not GOD but the "SECRETARY"
and we would all be walking around with a Rudy Guiliani Skywatch Band either around your neck or your foot!

So when your Congress shows you in a transparent manner that You've been lied too and you sit there and say that didn't happen. Obama, Hillary Clinton got us here today! You reap what you sow! $5.00 gas, a dollar worth .68 minus 10% tax, Big Dairy Milk at 4.89 a gallon, Big Tobacco 5.85 a pack and a backdoor judicial system imposing Marshall Law Immigration on you! Be happy don't worry! Be happy don't worry!

So I do see change, at least people are being held accountable, it's not Congress's fault that it goes in one ear and out the other! A hard head always made a soft wallet! There are a lot of soft wallets out there, mine and yours!

You are putting me on aren't you? No wonder your "caged".

This "DO NOTHING" Congress has the lowest approval rating ever. Last I saw, it was at 12%. That's 10 percentage point (or more) lower than this president's which you obviously hate.

This Congress has given new meaning to the phrase "Witch Hunt". The darling Democrats want to investigate and/or demonize every Republican that they can. They haven't got the time for talking about constructive/positive legislation.

Their latest ideas on how to solve the high oil prices are the laughing stock of the world. I just came back from Europe and my friends and I had quite a few chuckles on our Congress' antics and ideas.

I'm glad you love the "change" that they've shown us. I, personally, am appalled by it.

If you want to defend them, fine. But please tell us what positive legislation have they passed that wasn't chock full of "pork barrel spending?"

The Economy was purring along just fine until this Congress took over. It's been downhill ever since.

Also, so you understand, I am lumping Republicans and the Independents along with the Democrats when I use the word Congress.

ps: I also am retired and living on Social Security. So don't tell me I'm too young to remember.

Let's conveniently forget gas prices have gone up 400% since Bush took office. Let's also forget who vetoed a whole bunch of bills to suit his needs (Bush). Very convenient to blame the Congress. It's also very typical.

Very convenient to blame Bush. It's also very Left Wing.

Let's see. Gas must have been $1.00 a gallon when George W. Bush took office. That would explain a 400% increase.

Is that Accurate RD? Was gas $1.00 a gallon in January, 2001?

Fact: Gasoline averaged $1.52/gallon in January, 2001. George Bush takes office.

Fact: Gasoline averaged $2.33/ gallon in January, 2006. Democrats take control of Congress. Increase: 53.2% in 6 years or 72 months.

Fact: Gasoline now averages $4.07/gallon today. 268% increase since Jan., 2001 or 90 months. A 175% increase since Jan., 2006 or 18 months.
