What It Is.

Just when you think that the Cardinals are going to officially go down the toilet, they pull out some pretty big wins to take the series in Oakland. Granted, this isn't the same Oakland team that used to feature some pretty prolific young starters, but it is nonetheless a series win against a formidable A's opponent.

Hell, I'll take a series win in whatever way possible, especially in inter-league play. Those AL fans are such snobs. I hate getting in arguments with them. I'm surprised they don't just have somebody come in and argue their points for them. You know, kind of like the DH does for pitchers. Ooooh, burn.

I kinda got off-topic. I want to focus on the Cards and not American League fans. So we're officially 6 and 1/2 out of first place. Not bad considering how bad we've stunk. But the bats seem to be coming alive a bit more, and our bullpen has been surprisingly solid.  So I think we're going to take this weak NL Central division again. Carpenter and Mulder coming back healthy would help us out a ton and could put us in place for another October run.

What I most want to see, though, is at least one big deal by Jocketty...I'll save that for another time.

I'm a Cardinal fan, but I realize they are about to go down in flames... They are stressing their relivers way to much. Unless they acquire a starting pitcher or two via trade soon, the Brewers will be out of reach and the bullpen will be spent for the season. Carp and Mulder won't be back soon enough to make a difference. Cheers!

The Cards are now 2 1/2 out in Comedy Central! Big series this weekend with that other team. It's their year again!

Oh ye of little faith.

I'm a definitely a person! I love to re-build engines, and I also love to decorate cakes and make interesting desserts. One time, I made a giant gummy bear that was 10 lbs! Out of this world, huh? My favorite seasons are Spring, Summer, Winter, and Fall. And I love sports and music. That's about it.
