Hello Rita!!! Missed "Ya! The Kwamster saw & heard just how the people that REALLY pay the bills Downtown feel about him & his corrupt family/friends. I.m certain there are many in the city that are disgusted by his lies but they are far out-numbered by the ones with the city-issued blinders on.

Yeah another peron who "heard" about the party. I heard about the party too so does that mean its true. no one has said they were at the party. no one. why all of a sudden this guy's suing the city. why didnt say something during the other trial. or is he just trying to cash in. because I think I'm going to sue now because I'm scared for my life because I heard about the party. I can use a few free millions. since they giving em out and the city councel is not going to fight it. I'm gonna come up with something I need money. see yall on the news in a couple months

car yes just because you was born and raised here you abandoned us when times got hard and by you leaving that hurt us so why should you talk down or ridicule a city you were born and raised in but do nothing for. what do you do for the city you was born and raised in? you dont pay property taxes. you dont pick up trash. what do you do for detroit besides get on the blogs and spread hate

yaeh you can comment but comment on facts please. last time I checked "thugs" dont go to college. thugs dont get law degrees, thugs dont become state reps thugs dont graduate from cass tech. what makes you think that my mayor is a thug?

Det313-Run that stereotypuical race baiting game on someone else, bud; People that think like you do know why so many have & are leaving the city. Bottom line is some people of color wanted the whole city for themselves and they got it & they ruined it-You can't blame that on anyone but the residents, bud so live with it. Too typical of those that ruined their own city to shift the blame towards the ones that were smart enough to leave when the thugs & drugs overran the hoods. At least when I lived in the city, I worked in the neighborhood stores & the neighbors' yards without worrying about what color they were or how they thought of me. You are right about one thing though-It is YOUR city & who really cares anymore if some of the residents don't? After all, you DO have to live with the reputation & the image, huh? Truth really sux huh??? Then again, you don't care about it anyway so what's the use of mature conversation. Enjoy YOUR day!

So why do you insist that people "abandoned" the city? In the last 30 years, the city has seen the most dramtic changes in population, new business, escalated crime (including in the government) and you want to simply act like none of it is going on? You choose to hide behind the major sporting events that have brought a good light to the city just as your Mayor did at the Wings rally. I don't "worry" about the image & you DO know why people of all colors are leaving the city, don't you? I am quite satisfied that people not only in the Metro Detroit area but around the nation are able to see your comments and realise where the problem REALLY is-In a handful of bad apples that out-number the decent residents that DO want positive change. People like me & the media don't "prohibit" your so-called progress-We only see a huge smokescreen & the typical race-baiting game taught through the generations, making the suburbs look like the responsible party when we had no part in it to begin with. If your threads had any amount of credibility as far as helping the city, a petition would be started & put on the ballot to remove your thug Mayor & his crooked family/friends from office so the city CAN move forward. If you call a major population drop in the past 15 years of 25% & the fact that over 25% of the city is on some type of state/federal aid progress, you are completely lost & indeed a legend in your own mind. I do have a right to my opinion & many agree that the residents need to eliminate the primitive thinking & move into the 21st Century working together, not making lame exc

Like I said before. Detroit has made more progress in the last 6 years than it has in the last 20 years. Detroit had over 2 million residents at one point and now we have less than here 1 million. I dont insist it its true. after the riots people abandoned the city. its a history lesson not my opinion its true. and yes now Detroit has a lot more bussiness than its had and we are progressing I never said we were not progressing thats my point. under this administration Detroit has progressed in ways (during these times) that are incredible. all i'm saying about the media is they are not balancing the negative with the positive for example their was a caRREER fair yesterday but the first time you saw it on the news was the day before the fair. if it had been something negative like the mayors trial coming up they would have played it all week. yeah people are on fed aid across this whole state thats not just a Detroit problem thats a michigan problem. but Detroit is providing its citizens with free training and schooling so they can better themselves and also having forums on becoming bussiness leaders and citizens are getting benefits for opening up bussiness we are empowereing our selves and if the state would give us the $284 mill they owe us we would be alot better off. and thats not BS thats a real fact. people please stop spreading ignorance and do real research
