Mayor Ken Cockrel has had a very busy week but I for one am glad to see him getting the right people for the job.  I can't speak for the rest of you so I'll ask you this question. Do you think Mayor Cockrel is on the right tract to building a better Detroit?

lets not be so quick to say yay or nay. we dont know the affects these decissions will make on the city. its too early to tell. lets just hope things are going in the right direction for the citizens of Detroits sake. only time will tell and I'm sure the media will be digging up dirt on some of these people.

If Mayor Cockrel can rekindle the good neighbor policy with surrounding communities, convincing the business owners to invest in the city and make the right moves to curtail crime & drugs, I would say he is on the right track. But again, the residents must work hand in hand with law enforcement to help eliminate daily homicides, drug wars & blighted homes that plague many neighborhoods. That "Warn-A-Brother" garbage gets quite old, especially when it is their brother, sister, etc that becomes a crime stat.

Tall, This is the only way I can think to ask you this. I uploaded some pics I wanted to post, but now when I do they are just thumbnails and you can't see them.

I am an American Indian. I developed Muscular Dystrophy in 2001 at the ripe old age of 44. I spend my days mostly on line and with my Ex-wife, and kids. I guess you could say I'm a Democrat but I am most interested in what any candidate can do to improve the world in which we live. I know I really spell poorly but I take solace in the fact that neither could Einstein. LOL
