Neill's blog brought back an interesting memory and our discussion actually led to an interesting coincidence.  Tweetsie was the first theme park that either of us ever visited as kids.  I then learned that we both had visited the park riding in Chevy Impalas, his a 65 and ours was a 64.  Both were Red.  Both got the bumper sticker.

Anyone else remember getting one of those Tweetsie bumper stickers years ago?

Last week we had a story on the news that reported that 75% of men don't wash their hands after visits to the restroom. 50% of females.

 I knew from visits to the restroom that the number was higher than most people would want to admit.  But 75% is real high.  Even 1% would be too high.
 

Why would anyone use the restroom and not wash their hands?

For as long as I can remember, I have gone to the extreme when it comes to hand washing. When I go to a restaurant, I would never consider eating without washing my hands first.

Anyone else out there have a problem with restrooms that don't have hand towels and require you to touch or turn the door knob to exit? You know the ones where you have to use your sleeve to exit because you realize so many people exit without washing their hands leaving germs for everyone else to get on their hands and carry back to the table. Does this drive anyone else crazy?  If they have a hand drier and no towels, they should have a way for you to exit without touching the door.

 

Today I visited South Fork Elementary in Winston-Salem and was surprised by the number of people that had noticed the earthquake early Tuesday morning.

For a 2.6 quake, normally considered very weak, this one seemed to really shake some people up.

Did you feel it? What did you observe (windows rattle, dishes, etc. Let us know.

Also, I am curious how far away people felt it. Let us know which town and/or county you are from when you give your report.
