We first reported on Newschannel at Nine....as part of the first Homecoming without Chief Illiniwek, the University of Illinois is making the event  "Chief-less."    No displays, no floats, no garments with the Chief.   Still, Students For the Chief are encouraging people to come out wearing and displaying the Chief.    Seems it's a long standing tradition that might be difficult to part with.   What do you think?   Is it infringing on your personal choice to be told you cannot wear or display the Chief?   If you attend any of the festivities, will the Chief be part of your celebration in any way?
