"If Jesus Walked The World Today" by: Alan Jackson

If Jesus walked the world today, He'd probably be a Hillbilly
Common man of men and the King of many
He'd lay his hands on his brother man, save us all from the sinnin
If Jesus walked the world today, He'd probably be a Hillbilly

If He was here today I bet He'd drive a Chevrolet
Workin at the plant drawin workers pay
He'd preach in some little country church outside of the city
If Jesus walked the world today, He'd probably be a Hillbilly

If Jesus walked the world today, He'd probably be a Hillbilly
Common man of men and the King of many
He'd lay his hands on his brother man, save us all from the sinnin
If Jesus walked the world today, He'd probably be a Hillbilly

His long hair and sandled feet would be in style
Surround himself with the good old boys to tell His tale
He'd have a mighty cross tattoo on his hands by the nail holes that killed Him
[If Jesus Walked The World Today lyrics on http://www.metrolyrics.com]

If Jesus walked the world today, He'd probably be a Hillbilly

If Jesus walked the world today, He'd probably be a Hillbilly
Common man of men and the King of many
He'd lay his hands on his brother man, save us all from the sinnin
If Jesus walked the world today, He'd probably be a Hillbilly

Some folks would say it wasn't really Him
You know they'd probably send Him off to some kind of lonely bin

They wouldn't hang Him on the cross but they'd find some way to condem Him
If Jesus walked the world today, He'd probably be a Hillbilly

If Jesus walked the world today, He'd probably be a Hillbilly
Common man of men and the King of many
He'd lay his hands on his brother man, save us all from the sinnin
If Jesus walked the world today, He'd probably be a Hillbilly
He'd be a Hillbilly, yeah, He'd be a Hillbilly
Id bet Jesus be a Hillbilly, Lord, you know He'd be a Hillbilly

Your Gonna Miss This By: Trace Adkins

She was starin' out the window of that SUV Complainin' sayin' I can't wait to turn 18 She said I'll make my own money and I'll make my own roots Mama put the car in park out there in front of the school and she kissed her head and said I was just like you You're gonna miss this You're gonna want this back You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast These are some good times So take a good look around You may not know it now But you're gonna miss this Before she knows it she's a brand new bride In her one bedroom apartment and her daddy stops by He tells her it's a nice place, she says it'll do for now Starts talkin' about babies and buyin' a house Daddy shakes his face and says Baby just slow down Cuz you're gonna miss this You're gonna want this back You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast These are some good times so take a good look around You may not know it now but you're gonna miss this Five years later there's a plummer workin' on the water heater, Dogs barkin' phones ringin' one kid's cryin' one kid's screamin', And she keeps apologizing, he says they don't bother me I got 2 babies of my own one's 36 one's 23 it's hard to believe But you're gonna miss this You're gonna want this back You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast These are some good times so take a good look around You may not know it now But you're gonna miss this You're gonna miss this Yeah, you're gonna miss this I am 21 years old and I already feel this way!

How 'bout you by: Eric Church

"I know where I come from:
How 'bout you?
I don't need baggy clothes,
Or rings in my nose to be cool.
The scars on my knuckles,
Match these scuffs on these cowboy boots.
An' there's a whole lot more like me:
How 'bout you?

I punch the clock tryin' to make it to the top:
How 'bout you?
I ain't got no blue-blood trust fund,
I can dip in to.
Yeah, I wish Uncle Sam would give a damn,
About the man who's collar's blue.
But if he don't, hell, I'll make it on my own:
How 'bout you?

An' how 'bout you?
Do you feel the way I do?
To tell the truth,
I think we're the chosen few.
But that's just me:
How 'bout you?

I still say: "Yes, Ma'am" to my Momma:
How 'bout you?
If I shake your hand, look you in the eye,
You can bet your ass, it'll be the truth.
I cover my heart with my hat,
When they fly that Red, White and Blue,
Just like my Daddy taught me:
How 'bout you?

An' how 'bout you?
Do you feel the way I do?
To tell the truth,
I think we're the chosen few.
But that's just me:
Well, how 'bout you?

I like my country rockin':
How 'bout you?
Just put me on a stage, man,
Turn it up an' I'll turn it loose.
Yeah, give me a crowd that's redneck an' loud,
We'll raise the roof.
Hell, I might just stay all night long.

How 'bout you?
Do you feel the way I do?
To tell the truth,
I think we're the chosen few.
An' how 'bout you?
Do you feel the way I do?
'Cause, man, I know where I come from:
How 'bout you?"

AND THAT'S THE TRUTH!

I found this on the internet and found it very interesting:

"Dear God,

Why do you allow such violence to occur in the public schools?

Signed,
A concerned student

Dear Student,

I am not allowed in the public schools.

Signed,
God"

This is 100% true, if prayer and studying the Bible was still in public schools I know that there wouldn't be as much violence.

I was listening to "When We All Get To Heaven," earlier today and it got me thinking.

Do you think there is sadness at all in Heaven?  This is a open question to anyone.

In Revalation 21:4 it say, And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

What I am wondering is when the saved people get up into heaven and they look down and see the unsaved still on earth (for example: when the rapture occurs) and they see possibly friends and family members still on earth where they will then encounter the 7 year tribulation period.  Also, after the Lord sets up his new kingdom on earth and after the 2,000 year reign of Christ when the unsaved goes into the lake of fire forever.

Also, the Bible says about what we will remember from our earthly lives.  In Isaiah  65:16-17 it says, "That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes. For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind."

This may be a question we will never know the answer to here on earth.  To me though it seems like there will not be any sadness in heaven from the verses I posted earlier.   I'll just end with this, "When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be!"

Later!

Feel free to comment and even start a discussion!

I believe that my good friend Ross Coppley will be the next country music sensation!  He has been working hard the past few years and his practice and talent has really payed off!!  He got turned down by American Idol but that hasn't stopped him!  He also was on the local version down in Charlotte, Gimme The Mike and came in the top 5.  He will once again be on Gimme The Miuke this upcoming summer and hopefully he will win it all!!!  Please check him out and listen to his music, you won't be disappointed!!!

He also performed at the Lexington BBQ festival last year and he is scheduled to perform at the upcoming Threasher's Reunion on July 4th!  His girlfriend Sara Culler (Ross and Sara sing a song together on his site as well!!) also sings beautifully and I wouldn't be surprised if him and her become the next Tim McGraw and Faith Hill of country music!!

Ross' page is www.myspace.com/rosscoppley

Sara's page is www.myspace.com/sarajeanculler

Let me know what you think!!!!!!  :)

Hey everyone! I am an avid weather fan and I am planning on becoming a Meteorologist one day. I am 21 yrs. old and I attend a local Community College where I'm working on my Associate in Science degree. I am planning on transfering to another college after a couple more years to study Meteorology. I graduated from a Christian School in 2005. On our Senior trip, we took a mission trip to the Dominican Republic. It was awesome! I would love to back! I was in the NHS, student gov't, and Journalism class at my high school.
