What is Life Success?

A while back around the election I was told by one of the fellow bloggers that if you don't have a job you are a lazy person. Well let me tell you something...your wrong. I admit it I have never had a steady job. I have done odd and end jobs but I haven't ever had full-time job. I am 22 years old and I am a full time college student.
So what exactly is Life Success? Is it being rich and being able to buy whatever you want? Or could it be not having a bad day in your life? Life Success is being able learn, grow, and being able to live life to the fullest! Also, after these past couple weeks I believe that life success is also having a impact of someone's life. I was told by 2 people within the past couple weeks that I had a huge impact on their lives and I did not hardly know them! You see, I have a mild form of cerebral palsy on my left side where I hve like control of my left arm and leg. I also have a fairly severe stutter. I impacted their lives because I just did my regular thing. I had to help present a PowerPoint presentation to around 60 people the other week and I got up there and help present it just like I would normally do. I stuttered and I was embarrassed but ya know I didn't give up because I couldn't speak like everyone else and in the end I impacted someone's life by getting up there and having the courage to speak, despite my stuttering.
Also, Life Success is living life itself! You have to live in the moment because HEY it's the only life we have, we don't get a second chance!
I was impacted this past week by a woman who literally tried to take her life. She had a family, no problems, nothing to be sad about, but yet she was sad. Her children were all grown and moved out and she just thought her job was done and she didn't have nothing to do. She started drinking and one night her husband found her asleep but she didn't wake up. Thankfully she pulled through but yall it takes situations like that to open our eyes to what really life is all about. She is now back at school and she is going to be a teacher.
Life success is learning who you are as a person. We never stop learning I have come to understand though, through certain circumstances that God put in my life that we never really completely learn who we are because if we did there would be nothing else to learn.
I feel God working in my life everyday, helping me grow as a person. God has recently put people in my life that, well, are going to change my life.
You are not a lazy person if you don't have a job. You are a lazy person if you do not take the time to learn. Having a job, just like college is just a small part of the learning process.
I have been a Christian for many years now and God still amazes me with how He works! You have to take the time to hear God. God puts experiences and situations in our lives to prepare us for the future and to help us learn. Maybe by the time our time on earth ends we can may can be able to answer the question "Who Am I?" Take time to smell the roses because the small things in life are the most important.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!

take a look at this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3b1iwLIMmRQ
Our God is an Awesome God! If you look at that video and hear the words to that song it will give you chills about how powerful and great God is to give us such beauty around us! He cares about us and wants to have a relationship with us! Not a organized religion but a relationship! He created this world...the whole world and universe and He wants to have a relationship with each and everyone of us! I just think this is so amazing!
God is watching out for each and every one of us! If God was in more people's lives today the world would be a better place...as the great Ray Stevens said and sang,
"EVERYTHING IS BEAUTIFUL, IN ITS OWN WAY!"

This is so true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Me and God by: Josh Turner and Ralph Stanley
There ain't nothing that can't be done
By me and God
Ain't nobody gonna come in between me and God
One day we'll live together
Where the angels trod
Me and God
Early in the morning talking it over
Me and God
Late at night talking it over
Me and God
You could say we're like two peas in a pod
Me and God
He's my Father
He's my friend
The beginning
And the end
He rules the world
With a staff and rod
We're a team
Me and God
I am weak and he is strong
Me and God
He forgives me when I'm wrong
Me and God
He's the one I lean on
When life gets hard
Me and God
He's my Father
He's my friend
The beginning
And the end
He rules the world
With a staff and rod
We're a team
Me and God
He rules the world
With a staff and rod
We're a team
Me and God
We're a team
Me and God

This should
wake us up.
One day, a man went to visit a church, He got there early,
parked his car
and got out. Another car pulled up near the driver got out
and said, ' I always park there! You took my
place!'
The visitor
went inside for Sunday School, found an empty seat and sat down. A young lady
from the church approached him and stated, 'That's my seat! You took my place!'
The visitor was somewhat distressed by this rude welcome, but said
nothing.
After Sunday School, the visitor went into the sanctuary and
sat down. Another member walked up to him and said, ' That's where I always
sit! You took
my place!' The visitor was even more troubled by this treatment, but still He
said nothing.
Later as the
congregation was
praying for Christ to dwell among them, the visitor stood
up, and his appearance began to change.
Horrible scars became visible on his hands and on his
sandaled feet.
Someone from the congregation noticed him and called out,
'What happened to you?'
The visitor replied, as his hat became a crown of
thorns, and a tear fell from his eye, 'I took your place.'
Maybe, just
maybe, we can get the world to start thinking of who took our
place.
VERY moving song!

Tougher Than Nails By: Joe Diffie
Little boy walks in with a bloody nose,
Got beat up on his way home from school, aga-in,
His dad caught him running out the back,
Tears in his eyes and a baseball bat, oo revenge,
Said son I won't stop ya, but before you go,
Let me tell you a little story bout the toughest man I know,
You hit him and he just turns the other cheek,
Don't think for a minute he was weak,
Cause in the end he showed them,
He was any-thing but frail,
They hammered him to a cross,
But he was tougher than nails,
Well he dropped that bat like it weighed a ton,
Father put his arms around his son and said, just let it go--oo,
Believe me I've been in your shoes,
Had to ask myself what would Jesus do, here's what I know,
Whenever I'm in doubt, I look up what he said,
It's all there in the good book, in black and whitnd red,
Hit him and he just turns the other cheek,
Don't think for a minute he was weak,
Cause in the end he showed them,
He was any-thing but frail,
They hammered him to a cross,
But he was tougher than nails,
Yea in the end he showed them,
He was any-thing but frail,
They hammered him to a cross,
But he was tougher than nails,
Tougher than nails, oh, oh, oh,
I have started reading a book entitled, One Heartbeat Away: Your Journey into Eternity by Mark Cahill. He is a motivational speaker. I haven't got to hear him speak yet but so far his books are amazing! I am a Christian and I believe that God created the world. Mark Cahill, in this book, talks about the long-going battle between Creation and Evolution and he addresses some things I haven't thought about before that I am going to talk about here. I have a question for each one of who to ask to yourself. Where did Baptist Medical Center come from? Did the cement, bricks, metal, lights, carpet etc. just come together and BOOOM we have a hospital? No, it had a builder. EVERYTHING man-made has a builder, nothing came together by chance. Another question I want to ask everyone is, "What requires more faith to believe in: Creation or Evolution?" Go back to the Baptist Hospital example. Would you believe it if came up and said, "We just put all the materials needed for the hospital in a pile and the next morning, we had a hospital!" or are you more likely to believe it if someone said, "Mr. so and so and his crew built Baptist Hospital?"
This is the same exact way of thinking that goes into Creation and Evolution. Are you more likely to believe that the world was created by a creator or just by random chance to particles colliding and blowing up into what we have today? I'm sticking with a Creator myself, but then again it's your decision.
Another thing Mark Cahill goes into is talking about how precise the earth and everything on it is. He says in the book, "The earth is positioned at just the right distance from the sun so that we receive exactly the proper amount of heat to support life. The other planets in the solar system are either too close to the sun (too hot) or else too far (too cold) to sustain life." He mentions many more very interesting facts about how precise the earth is. Did all this happen by random chance or did it have a creator? Once again, it's your choice.
He also talks about Cause and Effect. "For every material effect, there had to be a cause." What actually caused the world to form? What really made those two particles to randomly smash into other, there was no air, wind, etc. just pure darkness and random chance? Or was the cause of the universe by a creator who put everything in it's precise place so we can have life and sustain life? One again, It's your choice.
As I conclude, I just wanted to once again put a question out there that I have asked before in the blog, Creation or Evolution, which one are you going the choose?"
Please feel free to leave comments and your opinions on this blog, thanks for taking time to read this and I hope each one of you has a Merry Christmas!!!!!
Jesus and Santa Clause

This will stir up the pot a lot I believe but I was wondering whjat you all thought about Santa Clause and Jesus. Do you think it is ok to tell your children about Santa, then tell them he's make-believe, then tell them to believe in Jesus?
Personally, I am going to tell my children that there is a Santa because they are totally different people and I do not think they can be related in any way to make children confused about the two.
