I am tired of the ads.  I can not stand it anymore!

Last night I received a note on my door about a neighborhood watch meeting about the crime in Kentucky Hills.

I know of a few things, but the note said "there is a lot more going on than you know." 

I have lived in my home for about eight years now.  Only once did I have a problem and it was a drunken teeanager who stole a statue out of my flower bed. 

Has anyone else had problems?

I just wanted to give Kudos to the Independence School District for continuing to keep their parents educated on the proposed annexation.

The district has been sending notices home with the children for the parents.  The notices have addressed concerns from both sides.  They have only given facts and nothing in their notices tries to sway voters one way or the other.

Very professional.  I am proud to be a part of this district!

Has anyone else noticed how the whole "Kelsey Smith" story was followed from beginning to end with such emphasis on how horrible the whole thing was, now there has been a young lady "Jessica" found murdered and floating in the Missouri River and I have not heard anymore since they announced a special task force was being formed to investigate. 

One day did not go buy with out hearing something on Kelsey Smith for weeks!  The news even had this nice little picture with beautiful music in the background when the story came up.  Now we have another young lady murdered and she has not gotten nearly the publicity that Kelsey's case did.  Is it because the family acknowledged she had "fallen in with the wrong crowd" and had a rough life?????  Does that make her less important???

It saddens me.  Regardless of the life she was leading, she was murdered and tossed away like trash!  Doesn't anyone care!!!!
