Cousin Kwame

I'm searching desperately
through my family tree

to see if Kwame
is any kin to me

and if i'm not
some of Kwame's kin

then i'm hoping I use
to be his friend

cause hiring
friends is his motto

 Knowing Kwame
is like hitting the lotto!

I'll be paid 10 times
what i'm worth

 only in  Detroit
no where else on earth

If I worked for Kwame
I'd support him too

knowing if he goes down
my paycheck will too!

Kwame never ceases to amaze me! I'm now quite sure why he has so many seemingly blind supporters backing him...they are getting paid to! The Detroit News (Sunday edition) Ran a story about the numerous friends and family members that work for cousin Kwame! It is shameful! There are accounts of many of them being under-qualified for certain positions and getting raises every year!  Kwame has truly pimped out the city of Detroit.

Nice poem Cityblues . Or , is that a blues tune ? I don't know if Detroiters should be singing the blues or crying the blues .

They probably should be doing both shock...unless you happen to be one of the lucky Detroiters who happen to know or is related to Kwame...hopefully they'll have reason to sing/cry the blues soon too!

I commented on Jeff Jewels blog that Kwame should only be allowed to hire prostitutes to work for the city , that way , Detroiters would know what kind of job they were going to get , and how much it was going to cost them in advance .

This mayor needs to be removed from office! Drama, drama, drama. Am I surprised he uses gross favoritism and unethical practices by hiring, protecting, and paying his close friends/family more than most? NO! Watching each day as the corruption unfolds is sickening. It's a pure insult to Detroit and surrounding areas in everyway! What kind of example of leadership does Kwame set for honest, hard-working, decent people? If you look at the pass hiring practices of other leaders, Kwame continues to resonate a true "thug" mentality. We are tired of the drama, Kwame. Let go of your political cash cow and move on. How about getting someone to lead in Detroit who has some leadership ability and integrity?

YOU KNOW KWAME RUNS THIS CITY LIKE THE OLD MAFIA MOVIES IF YOUR MY FRIEND OR FAMILY YOUR TAKEN CARE OF, IF YOUR ANY ENEMY YOUR TAKEN CARE OF, BUT IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING I WANT I WILL MAKE YOU AN OFFER YOU CAN'T REFUSE.

...I find it so hard to believe there are Detroiter's out there that honestly think the "system" is going after the mayor...OMG! The gathering at the Shrine of the Black Madonna to support his BS...WOW! Someone please tell me those people were hand picked too like the ones at the address he did at the Max! It's like he just woke up one morning and the entire town is suddenly against him and he doesn't understand why!...even more troubling to see him on TV, business as usual, making appearances, announcing legislation, denying guilt just as straight faced as ever...if nothing else, give my "cousin" an academy award for best supporting actor in a drama!!!

It appears that your Mayor McDummy has gotten himself so far into the well, that he's now clawing at any and all walls to get out. He was a man originally elected on his view points on what could be done to make Detroit what it was. But suddenly, he began to believe he was the top dog. Here he could fire and hire who he wanted to. Here he could hire as many relatives he deemed necessary without drawing attention to himself. He's not a dumb man, for if he was, he would have never gotten through the bar. Then along come Christine, and he's now the top dog that she wants, (a sugar daddy) and he wants something in her. (just some sugar) The trial arrives, they both lied under oath that an affair never happened, the courts make a multi-million dollar settlements, and then out comes the text messages. He's laughing, because he's smart enough to believe that he's smarter than the average man, but there is far to much left to this story that hasn't even begun to break the surface yet.
Give him and all his working relatives time, and in time, they'll all hang themselves...

...ya know, after all is said and done, he could have done really big things...he was off to a pretty good start, then the street mentality kicked in...the "bigger than life, above the law syndrome".It's been the downfall of a few good men (taking a man out the hood, but not the hood out the man).

cityblues, you blew that one away!
Dear Kwame
This is a letter of appeal
I'm your long lost ouzin,
This is no joke I'm for real

Can you find me a place on your team?
I can barely read or write
but I can lie and scheme
The contents of my resume are all untrue
But what is that between cuzins?
That's what we were taught to do.

Iwon't have to show up
Or work for my pay
Just so I cheat for you
and worship what you do or say

Hurry cuz, they're closing in
Kym Worthy's on her way!
I don't think you're gonna win
I don't think you're gonna stay
Unless you buy that judge off
and commit another sin.
While you wait grant me that interview
After all I'm your cuzin,
crooked like the rest of you kin.

Looks like the Mayor had is own Cult with all his family and friends. Not to mention his harlem of women with his wives Charlita and Beaty and his attempt at trying to recruit Strawberry.

I am a proud Detroiter who was born in the Motor City and have remained in the city or near suburbs for my entire life! I'm pretty shy until you get me behind the safety of a computer screen and then...watch out! The keyboard becomes my instrument through which I share my two cents! I know, I know...two cents ain't much in this economy..but they're mine and to me....they're priceless!
