Is it because "the white man's being doing it for years?"
Is it because " Mayor Kilpatrick deserves respect?"
Is it because " white people would love to see "our" Mayor go down?"
Is it because....OK! ENOUGH OF THE BS ALREADY!
This man needs to leave the office of Mayor because he has disgraced it in so many varied ways, period!
He said there was no party at the Manoogian Mansion? Ya believe that??
When asked under oath if he had a romantic/sexual relationship with Christine Beatty, he didn't just say no but gave a dessertation to his no, mentioning something about "...wh-re...(rhymes with core)?"
He said that he and Christine did not fire Gary Brown? Ya believe that?
He said the red Escalade, bought by the taxpayers in the amount of $24,500 ($500 less from what City Council would have had to approve) was not really bought for his wife or family, although she was seen it. Hmmm. Did he ever pay back the city, with the city's money?
Someone said it, "...he can sell snow to an Eskimo..." I think it was Barbara (flip-flop) Collins.
I'm a very proud Black woman who is sick and tired of those people who condone Kwame KIlpatrick's continuous deviant behavior.
Kwame Kilpatricks behavior is despicable. He should be called out and not coddled.
KK doesn't know what the truth is if it sat on his tongue. He has proven that he is an habitual liar. He stood in front of Judge Giles face, while the camaras were rolling, and said the Mayor from Windsor called him and requested that he come to Windsor. And all this was said to the Judge, in the same breath as him telling the Judge that he respects the Judge and the Honorable Judicial System. Hmmmmmmmmm.
I am just blown away how some in the Black community continue to condone the behavior of deviants. If the community I live in is to ever, overall, get it together, deviant behavior can not be ignored, swept under the carpet, kept among "us," or any of those "shaking my head" kinds of things I see people do.
Everybody sees the man who has come to the cocktail party in a pink suit with a snotty nose and who has brought his own wine, in a bag, to this party. Everybody's whispering.
I'm at the party, and I've got to say something.
Psst, Mr. Kilpatrick. Psst, Mr. Kilpatrick. Sir, it's time to leave.

I love God so much. Additionally, I love my family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. You know what I try not to do? I consciously make efforts in not taking any of these people for granted. Life is so short. If I could change the world, I would end ignorance. If I could change the world, I would end hunger. If I could change the world, I would end poverty. In my new world, people would take responsibilty. People would not be mean. In my world, there would be equality, justice, love, and righteousness. Life is short. I'll work on me and try my very best to be a beacon of light. Will I be perfect? Nope, I'm just a work in progress with strong opinions.
