Usually the acorns start falling from my oak and my pin oak tree in mid August. At first they are very small but by October they are full size and I have to use a broom or a blower every day to clean them off my driveway but this year nothing. I haven't seen a single acorn this year. My neighbor says that nothing is falling from his pin oak either.

Is anybody else out there noticing the same thing?

Last year my walnut tree didn't produce at all but I attributed that to the hot and very dry summer of 2006. This year the walnut tree was prolific.

My neighbor's tree is't dropping acorns either. The tree appears to be healthy as does mine.

You aren't seeing acorns because Obama's civilian police squirrels confiscated the acorns from your high yielding working squirrels to give to the low producing squirrels who will not gather their own acorns. I know it is very disappointing, but Repar-acorns suck.

independant. If anyone wants to correspond directly with me you can do so at jstol3@netzero.com. I see myself as both a conservative and a conservationist. I despise wastefulness but I don't want environmentalists telling me how to live my life. I'm all for a free market system except when it comes to energy. This is a monopoly thast needs to be regulated! I diverge from most conservatives when it comes to abortion and stem cell research as I belive in freedom of choice and scientific progress as I believe that we were given a brain to think with. Knee jerk reactions and one issue politics turn me off. I am both a Vietnam veteran and former Vietnam war protester (we should have been allowed to win). I am an advocate of the war in Iraq (as long as we do what we have to to win) and the war on terror.
