Back on March 20th I wrote a blog about a new and upcoming country music sensation Colt Ford. I gave yall his myspace site and all, I really don't know if anyone checked him out ot not because I never did get any responses. Anyhow, I would like to let you know that he now has a new video on CMT called "No Trash in My Trailor." You can watch CMT for it, or you can go to the website and watch it.  He is another Georgia native that is making a name for himself in the music business. Be proud of him, support him!

Ok I am a born US citizen from GA. I don't really know where yall may be from, and I am not going to really guess. But I was born with the right to vote as with everyone else born in the U.S. or that became U.S. citizens. So, my grief and ignorance lies with the fact that I strongly disagree with allowing Guam, Puerto Rico, and the other U.S. territories being allowed to vote. But they are NOT U.S. states, nor are they US citizens when they are born. So, how is it that they get the right to vote in the Presidential Primaries and Elections? I will not mind when they become a state.  But last I counted there are 50 states. So what gives? Please make me understand where they get that right when they are NOT U.S. citizens? They do not live in a state.  Next thing well see Mexico voting in our election, maybe even Canada!

There is a girl that graduated 5th in her class at a CC high school. She had great SAT scores, and she managed to get accepted into college with an Academic scholarship. About a month later she received a phone call from the accepting college withdrawing her scholarship and her acceptance to the college due to the lack of accredation from CC school system. Even though they still have it, they are barely hanging on. And this poor girls future was ripped from her hands thanks to the idiots on the CCBOE! Shame on you! Think about the students before your 300,000 salary.

Good Going CCBOE. Congrats on ruining the future of the thousands of students in CC school district.

There is so much controversy surrounding the Clayton scool system losing their accreditation and how it is currently affecting the students.

Well, I can give you an example right now.

Touchy, touchy. Although racisim is a serious subject and people are mighty offended by it, when a comedian makes jokes about it we can laugh about it. Why is that? I think that it makes us stop for a minute and makes us realize how stupid we act when it comes to sterotypes and racisim.

I am a big fan of Carlos Mencia. He gets makes fun of all races. Even his own; Latino. He has the audacity to say things that not very many people have the guts to say. Yet there are other comedians that make fun of it too. Katt Williams, Dave Chappell, Chris Rock, and Don Rickles.

As I watched Carlos Mencia last night he explained how comedians were able to come up with jokes that might offend others, and it actually makes sense.  Tragedy+Time=Humor.  Really if you think about it, it's true. Look at OJ. Man that was a racial divide. But we all joke about it now.

So why do we get so bent out of shape when this Rev Wright speaks of hate and racisim? Well, mainly because he doesn't make it funny. He doesn't make us comfortable for us to listen to. And he is only one sided. Unlike the other comedians. That is where the uproar comes from.

So what do you think? I'd really like to know.

"If you ain't laughing, you ain't living, baby.” -Carlos Mencia

He really is not that new, but he is great. His name is Colt Ford. He is a Ga native and needs the Ga native support. Not to mention he has appeared on  Good Day with artist Bone Crusher as a duet one morning. Colt has a gift of mixing rap and country music. AKA hickhop.  His lyrics are just outstanding. They are humorous yet, he is able to connect to the average person.

One of his songs has become the anthem of the Pro Bull Riding Assoc. the name of the song is "Buck 'Em" He has some songs from his new album on myspace that I stronlgy encourage you to listen to. One of the songs is a duet w/ John Michael Montgomery.

Coincidently I just found out that my cousins husband is his guitarist also.

If you like it, spread the word. I am

Yesterday I was watching my daughter play outside with her friends. She had taken her sweatshirt off because it had gotten dirt on it. (She hates being dirty). Anyways, one of her friends a little boy that is only 4, took off his coat and put it on her. He even got on his knees and zipped it up for her. Not to mention the fact that he put the hood on her head. I was very impressed. I had to meet the parents of this little boy.

So, I took my daughter another jacket out to her. And met his parents. They were as nice as can be. I told them what I saw, and his father said, "That is the country boy coming out in him."

I thought to myself, "keep it coming"

I had to share this because you rarely see this in children. And I hope that this trend makes a comeback.

You really don't need to respond but i just wanted to share this with you.

I found out the other day that my niece and nephew were in danger on an online virtual avatar game. My niece 12 and my nephew is 11.
My brother actually became aware of this last week when he started looking to see what they were up to. He saw they have been playing this game.
Apparently the person that my niece had been talking to a person named "asnastyasIwannabe" or something to that affect. And my nephew was just cussing up a storm, dropping the F bomb every chance he got.
My nieces "friend" had a blog that had a "question of the day", every question was as perverted as the other. One being, "If your mom and dad were not home and we were locked in the closet what would you do to me?" You can imagine the answers that the perve got.
My brother took 3 days to go through all the histoy between the two of them. And once he had seen everything, he was sickened. And believe me that is a lot for him.
Anyways, the kids are completly restricteds from the computer.
But the good thing is that my brother was successful on getting the website on the Internet Predator Watch List. It took only one day. I was very surprised.
Unfortunately, I cannot remeber the name of this site right now. But next time I talk to my mom I will make sure I get the name of it.
But that does not mean that other virtual reality, or other avatar game sites are not infested with online predators. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised if a predator started up these online games. So your not being nosey, look where your children are going, and look and the history of where they have been.

Sooner or later we all knew that the Jones boys were going to split up eventually. And well, it just happens to be that Andrew will be leaving.Personally I will be upset about him leaving. The split...well, it was to be expected. I was actually rallying on Chipper myself. He has been on the DL on too many occasions for the past 4 years. But just because Andrew had a bad year this year that is no reason not to re-sign him this year.

Andrew did have a struggle this year hitting, but when he did, he made it count. You have to admit that. Chipper may spend a good bit of time on the DL but he makes of for it too. I am not the only one that had expected Chipper to leave. There were many people I know that thought that he was going to be traded this year. But Andrew was a shock!

And so to end I'd like to say, Andrew, we'll miss you babe! GL!

So there is this huge thing that Rush Limbaugh said "phoney soldiers". Referring to a specific soldier that said her served in Iraq and got a medal when he did not.

Well, not the Democrats all over him. They want to take a bite all over his butt. My guess is because they caught so much heat over the "Gen. Betrayus" Ad from the NY Times. The Democrats want an immediate apology from Rush. Well, to begin with, they don't even support the war, what do they care?

But the argument that I have heard in support of Rush is that he is a private citizen not involved in politics that has the right to express his opinion! What? Are you kidding me? Rush has been stirring the pot of politics for many years. And once you become a public figure like he has, there is no such thing as a private citizen. It is true he is a citizen, and has the right to free speech, he can say anything he wants.

Have a nice day :)

I saw a story the other night on Nancy Grace, and then tonight on Geraldo, and so I thought that I would give you the case and find your opinions.

These are the facts that have been given to the media as they are:

A mother and her son were riding around about 10:30 pm one night when she was car jacked. The man kicked her out of the car, and proceeded to kill her son with a pillow that was already in the car. After the muder he fled. The perp did not take the car. And did not harm the mother. The mother called 911 from her cell phone when they arrived the body was lying on the gravel.

The sketch that she gave of the perp looks like a picture of her x-husband aged by 20+ years.

Two months before his death, there was a fire that erupted from his room where his mother left both the lamp and nite-lite on. He showed much bravery when he left the room and ran to his mom's room to save her.

There are very concerning questions in this case.  Such as why were they out at 10pm on a school nite w/a pillow in the car? How come the jacker did not take the car? Why did hh just harm the boy and not her?

This happened a month ago and is still being investigated. But, there was NO insurance policy on the boy. That has already been confirmed.

The mother is NOT a suspect what so ever. Her story just sounds mighty suspicious....

I was just reading an article on Fox News web where a man got a stay of execution in Texas of all places because he feared the pain of his death! Can you believe that. And they have lethal injection there! That is the peaceful execution as compared to the electric chair!

I was outraged when I read that. The inmate said he did not fear death, just the pain.  He is in there for killin his mom and dad. Now, what kind of pain does he think that his mom and dad went through?

ARRRRGGGGHHH! Where is the justice? Not to mention TX of all places they have executed 21 people this year already. And 1 already this week. I think on Tuesday.

So, someone please explain this to me. So it can I can understand this. Cause I am angry as a pitt right now!

Have a nice day!

Ok, I live in McDonough. And at a park here, they are in the process of trying to build of Wall of Honor for the Veterans. No matter what war. Korean, WWI, WWII, Vietnam. Doesn't matter.

You can buy a brick for the loved one that has died with his/her name on it. I have bought 2.  Now the architecture and layout is beautiful. Now I am not trying to sell you anything. But I went to the website for Saxby Chambliss today and saw the budget was for 2008. He asked for a petty 250,000 for this memorial, as compared to 2 million dollars going to 2 different memorials. One going to Museum of Aviation ot Robbins Airforce Base in honor of WWII. and the other going to NATIONAL Meuseum of Patriotism, being relocated. Both of them 1,000,000 each.

The wall of Honor is not a museum but, the purpose is to honor just like a museum does. And the Wall of Honor is not limited to locals of McDonough. It is nationwide. Just like the Vietnam Wall. And that said to me more than any museum that I saw in DC this past summer.

Whether you agree or disagree it doesn't matter to me. I just wanted you to be aware of it.

Gotogo, you have diabled your response, so I could not respond to you question of racisim at the WH. So I am just going to have to write my own blog.

Yes, there is racisim at the WH. I have seen it and lived it. I have worked at many WH"s in Clayton and Henry Co's. Not anymore, but between 1998 and 2002. I have seen waitresses have comlpaints filed against them, and I have seen customers give attitudes toward them because of their race. So it goes both ways.

But, the most enlightning experience I have ever had with a racial issue was with WH.  IT was  when my husband, being a store manager was transferred to Cumming GA, Forsyth Co. Well known for being a very racist part of GA. I cannot tell you what a shockwave was sent to me my first day of work. I heard more racial slurs and terrible things from customers and workers at that store. I was ready to go home. I was not used to that. There was a black waitress that worked there but her customers only tipped her in change, very rarily would she get bills. Unless she waited on one of her own race.

Anyway, I waited on a colored woman one day. There was one other customer in there. They were white drinking coffee. But I preferred talking to the colored woman. I told her my background, where I was from, we exchanged pleasantries. Just good ol' conversation. I will have you know that that woman tipped me 10.00 for a cup of coffee and pie, because she has never been treated with such kindness at any restraunt. I refused to take it because I was just doing my job. But she insisted. So I obliged her. I felt so good inside because I made someone's day.

My point is, at any WH, Micky D's, wendy's wherever you go, you will find it! Don't just single in on WH.  It is not WH's fault. They cannot ask when they hire you, "Now are you a racist?"  Since racial intolerance is not accepted why can't they ask that question. It really does lower the number of lawsuits. And it doesn't single out certain companies such as WH. So, it is not the company, it is the upbringing, or thoughts or opinions of that employeed person at that company.

In essence, give WH a break, I am sure that they were unaware of the intolerable views of their employees. A complint to get them fired is good enough for me!
