This morning on WWJ, our Governor pleaded to Michigan citizens to email the White House their comments on the loan failure TODAY..... NOW.

Here's the address, email I sent to President Bush.  Please pass this along, and I welcome your comments.

Dear Mr. President,

This morning, I heard the news of the Bridge Loan collapse.  My stomach sunk to the bottom and nausea was close to fruition.  Mr. President I write this for our Nation.  With all due respect Sir, the failure of the Bridge Loan appears to be a deliberate attempt to commit economic suicide for our Nation.  Please understand I am not a financial wiz, nor an automotive related employee.  I work in finance as an I.T. Administrator.  That's a pretty name for workstation support.  I realize the impact that this would have is not only for Automotive, and related manufacturers and suppliers but every business large and small in our Nation.  Many companies depend on the income and purchases made from those working in the automotive industry.  The hardware stores, clothing stores, restaurants, etc. skilled trades such as electrical, plumbers, carpenters will also suffer.  Who will be able to afford these services?  With the Citizens of the United States in financial peril, money will not be spent by the majority and we will see further economic decline.

Fear overwhelms me Mr. President and the citizens of the United States are angry and afraid.

Can you answer one question for me Sir?  Honestly, I do not understand the bailout of AIG, an insurance company who has now promised substantial bonuses from our Tax Payer bailout, yet an industry that will stop at nothing to protect this nation is being forced into bankruptcy.  It was Automotive that re-tooled to support our Military, who offered 0% financing (at their loss) to boost the economy after 9-11, and have made significant cuts to their workforce already just to stay afloat.  There is not a NATION in the world that does not support their Automotive Industry Sir.  Our National Security DEPENDS on it now and in times of National crisis. 

Just as Katrina was a National Disaster requiring Governmental support, Michigan should be recognized as an Economic Disaster.  We've been pummeled for a long time without even an acknowledgment from the White House. We are a resilient state Sir, but we are suffering substantial loss as will many other states and their citizens if this loan is ignored. 

I beg of you to please force monies to the Big Three.  The United States of America, for now, is the strongest nation in the world.  We CANNOT AFFORD any other choice.  Should the big three fail, our dependence on foreign manufacturing would only increase.  Again, this appears to be deliberate.

Please help the Nation you Love in the most prominent way before the end of your Presidency.

This comment is not meant to offend anyone, and I apologize in advance if it does. The race card has been thrown around a lot lately and I just want to comment on that.

To all the Black People of Detroit, Wayne County, and the State of Michigan, I would be P****ed off if I were you.

The race card does nothing except for keep your race repressed. It's only used when a crime has been committed by a black person and what is says is the exact opposite of what you are striving to achieve. The race card, says that you cannot think for yourselves, your not responsible, you have no other choice, your not smart enough, your not strong, independent, conscious of your choices, you did not know any better, ....you cant help it BECAUSE your black. That is an offensive thought isnt it? We all know better! What would MLK think? I think he would be angry too. T

The black population of Detroit and all of Michigan have fought hard for their equal rights. Why let the race card hold you back from even further success. What does Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Lewis Farrakan(sp) have in common? Hatred, and the rise of racism. They are always around as part of the problem, never part of the solution. They don't EXPECT greatness from their own race. They try to blame everyone else for the decisions of black people, and always willing to fight -- suggesting that you cannot do that for yourselves.

C'mon. You are responsible, smart, independent, strong, willing, eager, spiritual, ... I could go on an on. Bad choices are made because people make bad choices. It has NOTHING to do with race.

I'd love to see the race card in a more positive light. Many black people exceed their goals, rise above expectations, are a positive influence, good mothers and fathers, good citizens, volunteers, workers, doctors, lawyers, judges. Why do we only hear about race when crimes happen. It's just not fair to any blacks.

I ask that you stop the race card to let your race rise above the very thing that is keeping you down. Please spread this word. Bury the Race Card! When people are guilty of a crime it does not matter the race.

Mayor, Carlita.... (sorry I once did respect his wife) bodyguards, lawyers, Chief Ella (very sad indeed - I truly respected you), friends, staff, Officers....

Shame on you all.

The onion has peeled, and this case is wide open. You stand naked. All is revealed now. You cannot hide, you are not protected, and anyone who has anything to do with any of this is going to pay the price.

The courage to come forward now, is better than ever. You have nothing to be afraid of. They cannot kill you now. They cannot intimidate you, they cannot harrass you. They are the ones afraid now.

If you have truth, you must speak it. Many people want to hide behind a bible, and profess their faith yet..... a sin of omission is just that.... a sin.

If you are covering up a murder, that's a mortal sin.... if you are hiding lies, that's a deadly sin.

Either way, if you are still protecting these thugs out of fear, then I have to ask, where is your faith? You know you must do the right thing. What's stopping you? Have you no faith in the Lord you sing of every day. The protection that is promised and the forgiveness offered?

I'm baffled by some religious folk.

Do you honestly think you will retain KK's loyalty? Does that mean anything to you? I know, you rode the wave, and tried not to look when he did bad things, but still..... you know.

We need to know. Detroit needs to know. The communities which surround this great city, support it and hope for it's return needs to know.

The only way to save Detroit now, is with the truth. No white lies, or half truths.

Today, I'm sure you will find a penny laying on the ground, desk, counter, street.... and guess what that signifies. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are watching and waiting for you. Every penny has "In God We Trust" on it, and from this day forward, every penny out of place is a reminder. God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, send messages in different ways all the time. Penny's are in abundance, and so is their love and forgiveness.

You cannot live with this secret. Why keep it? It will destroy you, and you know it.

Do the right thing.  Now is the Time.

Only honest people may apply. Don't try to get your 15 minutes of fame here people. Those that know......know.

You know who you are.

Just Do it. Find a lawyer, there are plenty of would love to talk to you. The FBI isn't a bad idea either.

Now, it is VERY important, that Kwamee and Christine receive a FAIR trial.  Anything else, could be a mistrial..... and they will not be held accountable for any of their crimes.

To the residents of the City of Detroit, I add that your day has finally come.  A city with so much hope, passion, and desire to succeed has only been repressed by the actions of your Leader and many beneath him.

Gosh, I hope for a speedy trial, and a just outcome for the City residents, County residents, and the State of Michigan.

Kwamee, please step aside or step down so you do not cause any more harm on this city you "love".  If you care about Detroit, you need to do the right thing so business can continue, and you can get your personal affairs in order.

"No Man Is Above The Law."  It is great to see our legal system FINALLY have the integrity, honesty, and diligence to do the right thing.

I live in Garden City, and make the 20 mile commute to Southfield.  This morning I left my house at 5:30am, (usually leave at 6:30) and I have to tell you.....PEOPLE ARE NOT DRIVING SAFE.

On the Southfield freeway, North....a woman zipped by me in an older cutlass (you know, REAR WHEEL DRIVE).  1/4 mile later she spun out and was T-Boned by a large SUV.  It could have been worse as people were trying to stop when we saw the accident.  Had there been more vehicles on the road, there would have been a pileup on Southfield.

Please tell your viewers again, as you always do....... SLOW DOWN.  The snow may not
look very deep but it is very slick.  I drive a pickup with 4x4 drive, and was going anywhere from 35-40 miles an hour.  I was safe and did not have a problem, but....going any faster is not
safe for you or the other drivers next to you.

The world will not END if you show up late.  Be safe, be careful and take your time.

Your shoving of the reporters, just before your "apology" did not go un-noticed.

Neither did the genuine strength and character of your beautiful wife.

You do not deserve her, your children, your job, or the respect that so many want to offer you.

Religion is NOT a free pass to do as you choose. Only God will forgive and/or judge you. As for the rest of us.

This is a first for me.  I’ve never submitted a blog, and/or a comment to a television station or newspaper until now.

This comment is a filled with the ingredients of sadness, confusion, disbelief, anger, and renewed sense of faith all put in a blender and mixed to a puree.

Which flavor of emotion is greatest? Well, that depends on the moment. They are changing rapidly.

To know Kimberly is to ‘Love’ her. That can be seen as a generalized statement of a Powerful word but please let me explain.

When you go to the Acorn Shope, you’ll be greeted with a with a warm smile, and a genuine desire to help you find what you are looking for, and even what you
may never know existed, and as you chat with Kimberly about this… and that…, her contagious laugh and smile envelops you. You dont even know that it’s happening yet. She shares stories, and you find yourself doing the same.

I’m going to guess that you will spend more time in her store than any other. Not just because of the unique and wonderful collection she has but because you’ll enjoy her company.

Then, when it’s time to leave, (not because you really want to, but because you don’t want to take up ALL of her time), you realize….. you did not just make a purchase…. you made a friend, and it seems as though you’ve always known her.

That has been my experience at the Acorn Shop, and I considered it to be rare. Rare because I cannot think of another shop that I’ve ever been in where I was treated with such genuine kindness. Whatever my mood was when I went there, I left with a smile on my face and a feeling that I can now spread goodness to the next stranger I meet.

This may come across corny, but I assure you… I write this from the bottom of my heart.

To the person who harmed her….

You have no idea of the person you almost took from this earth. If you had taken the time to meet her, I’m certain….. you would have felt her goodness, her contagious spirit, and her smile too. She would have never harmed you. She would have welcomed you, listened to your stories, and had you laughing and smiling on your way out the door.

To hurt someone (anyone) in such a brutal fashion is beyond my comprehension. I have faith that the Angels protected her. You hurt her, but you did not destroy her. You almost took her life. You’ll never take her spirit and goodness, that is her, and not your’s to take.

You will be caught, and I hope to watch you go to prison for your entire life so no one else has to suffer your selfish, hateful, demonic-desire to maim and destroy lives. Also, I pray for you. I pray that you find the soul you were born with and end your evil ways.

Kimberly loves Wayne. She is committed to bringing new stores and life to the downtown area. We actually had conversations about her sense of security, and you know what. She felt at home, safe, and surrounded by a community that shes known all her life.

Wayne will always be her home, and she is safe, her community will rally around her and show our support.

Please contact the Wayne Chamber of Commerce to donate to the "reward" fund for information and arrest of the creep who did this.

Also, a public gathering and fundraiser will take Place at the Wayne Recreation Center for  Kimberly Loveless next Wednesday.
