It's a sick feeling that we can all relate to.....!!

FoamyWallet.png ooh i found a wallet!! image by babygirlpebbles

Yesterday was  extraordinary  to say the least....... Traveling to north county for a doctor visit offered the opportunity to mingle with people that live on the opposite side of the city ..... Met a really nice old guy in the waiting room and  waiting room was by far the proper name for this lobby....... After some delightful conversation with the doctor and  given my freedom to go home proceeded me to the bathroom at the end of the empty hall to ready myself for the drive back through rush hour traffic....... Washing my hands  revealed a wallet lying on the sink and it was clearly visible that this wallet was full of money and credit cards....... At a glance several fifty and hundred dollar bills were easily visible.... I 've found money before but never this much....... One could have put this money in his pocket and went on with  business but the thought never even crossed my mind..... Instead I remembered the time losing my keys and the sick feeling  in my belly wondering where they could have gone....... So the wallet went to the receptionist in the doctors office and she opened it and we discovered that it was the old gent that I had been talking to in the waiting room...... She said she would contact him but when  the elevator door opened in the lobby the first person I saw  was this old gent ....... Asking him if he had his wallet created that instant look of panic in his eyes.... Reassuring him that it was safe and nothing was taken led to a handshake from a new friend and the journey home began....... I did get a free steak dinner from my sons Navy recruiter last night.........

What's the last thing you've lost that  made you sick...??

my mind.
Still sick about that.
I have lost money at a place I work at. Was mt prescription money. Was getting change for a bag of nacho ring's in a rush as break was over. Must of dropped it on the floor. Well no I never got it back. Me I found a dollar on the floor and put it in my pocket until someone said where did my dollar go and gave it back. 30 people working there so you know the money belonged to one of the 30 right?
But no one found my money.
They worked piece work too guess they needed it more than me. I should of had it in a better place.
Oh yeah I haven't had a bag of nacho ring's since. They cost a little much foe me. lol.

You took my answer jeanette. Great alikes think a mind.
I lost my wallet once. Back tracked every place I had been that day. Of course it was one of those days when you have to go every place in town it seems. Got out of the car at the last place of course and the dang thing was between the seat and the door.

Knock on wood I've never lost my wallet... I lost my car once.......lol

I could not remember to save my life where I parked one morning when I came to work at Chrysler...... It's a big parking and without a clue as to where to look it's tough to find...... I had to walk the lot for almost half an hour before I finally found it...

The Squirle Nutty Buddy was not mine but I did feed him and pet him few times..He was the squirle that would knock on window if Morgan our cat was not there..

I took Willie out to potty and saw Nutty Buddy laying there with blood coming out his mouth..Looks like he fell out the tree My heart just sunk and I cryed and cryed..

I whent back inside and dad was first to see me and said whats wrong..I told him and he hugged me telling me it was his time to go..Then mom cryed because I was crying..Mom can't take it if I am sad she gets sad..

Dad and me whent out and dad got Nutty Buddy and we took him and gave him prayers and baruid him..

To this day I feel sad whenI see his son Popcorn out ther..He has his daddys tail and expressions and yes he too will knock on window to get Morgan our cat to come...

Years ago I received my student loan money, it was about $2,500 in a bank envelope...Me and friend went clothes shopping at Kmarts, I put the envelope on rack to try on pair of shoes, forgot to pick up the envelope, went to pay for shoes, realize didn't have the envelope, my friend and I ran back to the shoe department, and luckily it was still there, with all the money inside. But talk about being frantic, that money was to make my semester payment at the college, and what was left over was to pick up supplies, clothing etc...for the rest of the semester. I was sure glad it was still there.

Lost my chainsaw off the back of my flatbed truck last winter, in the middle of a gravel country road. Didn't realy make me sick, but i'm one of those lucky guys and i got it back. We're in a rural area, the mail man found it and figured it belonged to one of three neighbors. Wild, my hat goes off to you man...i'm so glad there are still people in the world like us that if it don't belong to us its not ours....i sometimes wonder if this is a generation thing. Maybe there is still hope for this world by kind actions of a few. You are a hero, be proud! Not many left i fear.

Hey i'm not greedy...i'd be happy to win just enough to pay off the bank in full. Wouldn't that be an awesome feeling not to owe the bank anything or get that semi annual love letter from them...ever for one day it would be super..think about that?
