The folks at the NO ON 8 campaign have sunk to a new all time low.  They compare the YES ON 8 campaign to the racist past our country had back in the 40s when people were prohibited from marrying outside their race.  Prop 8 has nothing to do with race; it is meant to protect the integrity of marriage, which is a union between 1 man and 1 woman who are not related by blood.  NAMBLA & GLAAD are some of the biggest opponents of Prop 8, and have been working non stop to force their views on the public.  The NO ON 8 camp have sunk low by comparing it to the past where Japanese people couldn't marry outside the Japanese American Community, Armenians couldn't marry outside their community, Hispanics couldn't marry outside their community, African Americans couldn't marry outside their community, and Caucasians couldn't marry outside either.  Let me repeat this:  Prop 8 has nothing to do with race!  Laws have passed to make sure there is no discrimination based on race when it comes to marriage.  Stop hoodwinking the people, and stop usurping the will of the people you NO ON 8 guys!

what gets me about that ad is the announcer is obviously black to make it seen like its all about discrimination..I guess with the democrats to get people to believe that a guy who went to a racist church had friends who were and are terrorists can con the people into thinking boy this guy would be a great president ..all the pundits think we would believe anything...YES on 8

He said yes on 8 to keep marriage between a man and a woman. He also pointed out that a man sticking his "Johnson" into another man is not the same as Black Culture in the United States.

what I mean is if you put something out there long enough even though it is wrong it tends to blend in and people start looking at it as another normal thing..my inference to Obama was that if you hype like he dose long enough about one thing you overlook all the wrong he represents ..it has nothing to do with black white or anything else.homosexuality is just wrong it is not normal and should never be looked at as such

People of color have legitimate complaints about the racism of the past. I think it's pretty lame of the gay community to latch onto that when they have never suffered specifically as a group from the type of discrimination meted out in the past to African Americans, HIspanics and Asian. This is just an attempt to latch onto the advances of others by claiming moral similarities.

Mystere,
Those is some mighty big letta's. You so mad about a law that has nothing to do with you? How does this law directly affect your life? Is your dad gonna try to marry your uncle? or his dog? I read some book that had a homeless hippie named Jesus in it and he was hanging out with a hooker and speaking out against the established, conservatives and they were scared of him and called him names and then killed him, slowly.
That guy jesus might have been okay with the gays. Just a guess.

That guy Jesus said, "homos will not inherit his kingdom".

So The Dali Bama and his thugs are out defining a rich person to now be making 120K a year. I thought it was 250K. What happened? How low will that number go? Independent voters are not supporting The Dali Bama any longer. They say he's too Liberal, unprepeared to be president, and can't be trusted. A big shift is taking place as we speak...

Donny:

There are quite a number of us who have convictions that a man and woman are meant to be with one another. Just about every religion promotes marriage between a amn and woman only, so that the human race will continue. As for animals, those that have distinct male and female animals such as horses, cows, cats, and dogs, I've never seen same sex mating going on, so any arguemnt that says there are animals that engage in homosexual activity is purely bogus. In case you ever hear anyone use that as an excuse to prove some point, it's bogus. By the way, this hippie Jesus you read about will need to bow down to the true jesus who became a man over 2000 years ago. The true Jesus believed in marriage (Matthew 19:5, Mark 10:7-8) when he brought up Genesis 2:23-25 "The man said, 'This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called "woman" for she was taken out of man.' For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. The man and his wife were both naked and they felt no shame." Now look at the book of Levitcus, Levitcus Chapter 18, especially 18 verse 22. These are the things the gay and lesbians want you to ignore. Even Buddhists and other mainstream religions agree with this. So if you want to sow the seeds of destructive behavior around, say no to 8. But as for myself, I'm saying YES ON 8.

By the way, for those of you in the African American community, GLAAD and NAMBLA are taking you folks for chumps. Craftyguy noticed the voice sounds like an African American from the South, and if you listen carefully, he has a subtle gay lisp in his voice. Craftyguy refrained from mentioning this just to be polite. Don't let these guys take you for a bunch of chumps! You're all too smart for that.

The Nazi persecution of gays

Journalist Danny Lee gives a concise rundown of the events that led to the deaths of at least 15,000 gay men at the hands of the Nazis

Before World War II, radical artistic movements – such as the Dadaists (who were deliberately anti-art and anti-sense) – and political groups such as the Communists flourished in Berlin. The city, famous throughout the world for its relaxed attitude towards sex, was also the centre of Germany's gay community.

In addition, the German capital was the site of the Institute for Sexual Science. This had been founded in 1919 by pioneering sexologist and homosexual reformer Magnus Hirschfeld (1868-1935). His term to describe homosexuals – 'the third sex' – was in common use in the city at the time.

'The Night of the Long Knives'
In 1936, Heinrich Himmler, Reichsführer SS and head of the Gestapo, told the Germans: 'Just as we today have gone back to the ancient Germanic view on the question of marriage mixing different races, so too in our judgment of homosexuality – a symptom of degeneracy which could destroy our race – we must return to the guiding Nordic principle: extermination of degenerates.' But it had taken the Nazis some time to reach such a clear view against homosexuality.

Although the Nazi Party had always been officially anti-gay, in its early years many groups who opposed these Fascists lampooned them as homosexual. Hitler's 15-year friendship with the chief of staff of the SA (Sturmabteilung – storm troopers or 'Brown Shirts'), Ernst Röhm – who was publicly known to be gay after he appeared in court on homosexuality charges in 1925 – lent credence to this propaganda. Despite the gossip about his sexuality, Röhm was central to the Nazis' rise to power, transforming the Brown Shirts from a few embittered ex-soldiers in the early 1920s into the three-million-strong vehicle for Nazi terror that the storm troopers became in the early 1930s.

TRuBlu, again I find myself disappointed in the fact that you teach children. Homosexuals have been persecuted throughout history. FACT.
DFD, time and again you prove to everybody that you are not only a total ignoramus, but proud of it.
Hey Myster,
You said:
"As for animals, those that have distinct male and female animals such as horses, cows, cats, and dogs, I've never seen same sex mating going on, so any arguemnt that says there are animals that engage in homosexual activity is purely bogus."
The people who
know what they are talking about said:
"Homosexuality is quite common in the animal kingdom, especially among herding animals. Many animals solve conflicts by practicing same gender sex."

Myster,
there's more . . .
"One fundamental premise in social debates has been that homosexuality is unnatural. This premise is wrong. Homosexuality is both common and highly essential in the lives of a number of species," explains Petter Boeckman, who is the academic advisor for the "Against Nature's Order?" exhibition.
And More . .
"The most well-known homosexual animal is the dwarf chimpanzee, one of humanity's closes relatives. The entire species is bisexual. Sex plays an conspicuous roll in all their activities and takes the focus away from violence, which is the most typical method of solving conflicts among primates and many other animals.

"Sex among dwarf chimpanzees is in fact the business of the whole family, and the cute little ones often lend a helping hand when they engage in oral sex with each other."

Lions are also homosexual. Male lions often band together with their brothers to lead the pride. To ensure loyalty, they strengthen the bonds by often having sex with each other."

#1) The men in the Civil war shed enough blood to pay the price for slavery, HOW MANY YEARS AGO?? PLENTY.

#2)Homosexuality was considered a mental disorder before 1972, then slowly but surely it has changed colors and morphed into a "normal behavior" in our society.

Many other societies do not accept them, including Iran(they kill them there), American Indians(put them out of the camp) and I'm sure there are more.

Last year we the people already spoke and said Marriage is between 1 man & 1 woman...

So like spoiled brats they won't take "NO" for an answer.

Vote YES ON 8.

HUH?

#2)Homosexuality was considered a mental disorder before 1972, then slowly but surely it has changed colors and morphed into a "normal behavior" in our society.

That's ummm . . . that's your reasoning for voting yes on 8?

Many other societies do not accept them, including Iran(they kill them there), American Indians(put them out of the camp) and I'm sure there are more.

Iran. That country that keeps their women in burkas? The one you are so worried about Obama being in cahoots with?

I'm a life long North Orange County California resident. I work behind the scenes in radio, and I understand the pressures that the folks at Fox 11 and My 13 news go through to do a live show professionally. I don't like it when politicians try to make our government bigger than it is now. I oppose many of the things the Democrats are doing, because in my thoughts, they are selling out the public to nothing but garbage. In other areas, I'm an Anaheim Angels fan. McCain/Palin 2008! Obama's in for a "caining"!
