Tuesday night's People's Choice Awards was the worst awards show ever! While producers may be patting themselves on the back for pulling a fast one on the writer's strike, the show was one long boring commercial for CVS drug stores, and even the broad shoulders of Queen Latifah, couldn't carry it. No red carpet, no dumb questions by wannabe journalists, and no stars to see as they arrive. Inside there were no presenters, trying to read jokes on a teleprompter, no shots of celebrity's expressions at the bad jokes, and none of the little mistakes that make these shows fun to watch. But worst of all there was no anticipation on the nominee's faces as they waited to hear their names called. No, if this is all they can come up with, they should cancel the show. I know, I, for one, will switch channels the next time I see one of these "awards shows". This could kill the whole deal. The producers definitly made a bad choice.

Married,1968 to present, 2 sons, 6 grandchildren, retired after 40 yrs at the same company. A veteran of the U.S.Army in the mid sixties, and conservative politically. I am concerned about what is lacking in the education our children are receiving in school. When I talk to my grandkids about history or geography, it is totally new to them.
