Cindykay at the Give-a-Kid-a-Coat Campaign Kickoff

I would like to thank Cindykay for representing the bloggers/chatters Friday morning, by taking in the coats that we collected at the "Bloggers Bash" at Oak Hollow Lake last weekend!!!  I think that she represented us in the finest way, and looked beautiful on camera!  Thank you Van, and the Fox8 Crew for putting her on camera, as we were all watching for her!!!  We will continue to work for Fox8 projects, such as the toys in December, because we all love the Fox8 crew, in front of the cameras and behind them, too!  I know that all the chatters thought that Cindykay did a "great job" (right Cindy Farmer?) because we were typing at lightening speed, LOL!!!  Sis, you did a wonderful job representing us, and giving the "holler out" for the ones that deserved it and making others aware of the bloggers and chatters that are dedicated to the Fox8 Sites!  Fox8 Web Team, you are the greatest, too, for always giving help when we need it!!!  Carolinamom, you have a great crew, hold on tight to them!  And for the ones who always ask, no, Cindykay and I are not sisters, but it seems as if we are and the first time we ever met was at Oak Hollow Lake!  She is the kind of kind person who makes you feel as if you have known her your whole life, or at least she does to me!!!  I feel very special to have friends like I have on these sites!!!  Thank you all for giving to the kids, and Cindykay, thank you for representing us so well!!!  We love you for it!!!!

Hi Seaangel, Wow I wish I had known they was gonna hold one. I live real close to Oak Hollow.
I read your Profile My condolences on a 6 yr Fiance.. what is his hold up?

Sure deafasheck (actually I resemble your tag name, LOL) I would love to chat! Check out the tab on the Fox8 Front Page that at the top say Studio Live Cam, and it takes you to a chat line that you can chat and watch the news, and see behind the scenes at the same time. Yea, 6 yrs. but I believe that I am the "hold up" seriously, LOL. We would have loved meeting you at the Lake, quite a few of our bloggers and chatters showed up! But, we are going to have another one (inside this time, because it will be December) for the toys for Fox8 Kids, so keep an eye out for the date and time, because we still haven't finalized this yet. The last "Get Together" was so great, I know that the next one will be the BEST!!! Hope to see you there!!!

Thank you for the kind words SARQ. I had a blast with the Fox 8 Folks and the friends of Fox that dropped off coats on Friday morn. Will give an update on how it is going with the coat count!
Be sure to ask friends and co-workers to bring coats to A Cleaner World or to give them to you for dropoff

Hi, I'm a 46 yr. old mother of 4, widowed since 1995, so most of my children are grown. I have a fiance of 6 yrs., lots of grandchildren, 1 boy and 3 girls, plus 1 grand-pug. I LOVE the ocean (esp. Atlantic Beach, NC..God's country). I am an avid if not crazy Carolina Panthers fan and live to see football season so I can see them play. I'm a currently disabled Registered Nurse although I plan to go back to work when I am well. I love music (Go Chris Daughtry) from Counting Crows to Carrie Underwood, Trace Adkins, etc. (very flexible). You kind of have to be with teens in the house. Fox 8 seems like a second family to me esp. Brad and Cindy, since I lived in Danville, VA at one time. So I hope any responses I have are informative and hold your interest. I'm also an animal lover of all kinds.
