I would like to thank Cindykay for representing the bloggers/chatters Friday morning, by taking in the coats that we collected at the "Bloggers Bash" at Oak Hollow Lake last weekend!!!  I think that she represented us in the finest way, and looked beautiful on camera!  Thank you Van, and the Fox8 Crew for putting her on camera, as we were all watching for her!!!  We will continue to work for Fox8 projects, such as the toys in December, because we all love the Fox8 crew, in front of the cameras and behind them, too!  I know that all the chatters thought that Cindykay did a "great job" (right Cindy Farmer?) because we were typing at lightening speed, LOL!!!  Sis, you did a wonderful job representing us, and giving the "holler out" for the ones that deserved it and making others aware of the bloggers and chatters that are dedicated to the Fox8 Sites!  Fox8 Web Team, you are the greatest, too, for always giving help when we need it!!!  Carolinamom, you have a great crew, hold on tight to them!  And for the ones who always ask, no, Cindykay and I are not sisters, but it seems as if we are and the first time we ever met was at Oak Hollow Lake!  She is the kind of kind person who makes you feel as if you have known her your whole life, or at least she does to me!!!  I feel very special to have friends like I have on these sites!!!  Thank you all for giving to the kids, and Cindykay, thank you for representing us so well!!!  We love you for it!!!!

Now, personally as a child, I never owned an Easy Bake Oven, but my cousins did (I was more of a tomboy).  Throughout the years, until recently, these little toys for children to "play at being mommy and bake" have been no problem.  Why?  I would think it was because that "Mommy" was supervising this play project.  Now, in the past few years, children are starting to get injured by this toy.  I believe the first problem that I ever heard of was when "the light bulb inside would get too hot".  Now, the problem is that the "tiny fingers" are getting burned when they become trapped between where you put the baking item in the oven.  There is something wrong with this explanation?   Hmmm?  I know, it's the "tiny fingers"!!!  So, where is "Mommy"?  It kind of reminds me of when McD's and all other coffee and "HOT Cocoa" places had to start printing on the lids "CONTENTS ARE HOT".  Unless you have asked for "iced coffee", then exactly what do you expect to get?  This has led to a numerous warning labels that are for the "too ignorant" (I'm sorry, but that's the way I see it) such as the label on your hair dryer telling you not to use while in the bath or shower.  DUH!  Or, on all plastic bags, "Do Not Cover Face and Head" (now I might see someone using a small one for a hair cover, but I hope we all know that you cannot breathe if you have plastic covering your entire head and face (but that's just me, again).  So, now the "Easy Bake Oven" may be in jeopardy.  Parents please, whether it's this oven, chemistry set, or wood burning kit, please supervise your children while they "play" with it.  Thank you!

I was just taking some of the quizes from the studio's archives of ones given on the morning show and I believe I found a mistake.  Please correct me if I'm wrong.  On March 8, Mrs. Campbell from Sophia asked how many combinations could you use for 21 cents?  I came up with 33, being  ( 21 pennies), (2 nickles,1 dime, and 1 penny), (4 nickles and 1 penny), and (2 dimes and 1 penny), which I believe equals 21 plus 2 plus 1 plus 1 plus 4 plus 1 plus 2 plus 1.  Doesn't this equal to 33.  Please help if my math is wrong.      Thanks you,  I have been raising 4 children and I'm a nurse to, so I'd really hate to mess something up like that.  Please let me know if I'm confused.   This was Question 8 on March 8.

Hi, I'm a 46 yr. old mother of 4, widowed since 1995, so most of my children are grown. I have a fiance of 6 yrs., lots of grandchildren, 1 boy and 3 girls, plus 1 grand-pug. I LOVE the ocean (esp. Atlantic Beach, NC..God's country). I am an avid if not crazy Carolina Panthers fan and live to see football season so I can see them play. I'm a currently disabled Registered Nurse although I plan to go back to work when I am well. I love music (Go Chris Daughtry) from Counting Crows to Carrie Underwood, Trace Adkins, etc. (very flexible). You kind of have to be with teens in the house. Fox 8 seems like a second family to me esp. Brad and Cindy, since I lived in Danville, VA at one time. So I hope any responses I have are informative and hold your interest. I'm also an animal lover of all kinds.
