Collectively you guys [and you know who you are] have indeed driven people on here to leave, I have seen it first hand. You do so with name-calling and ignorant, angry banter. You yourselves leave no room for discussion because the minute someone says something in opposition you resort to first injecting your point of view again, then turn to questioning the validity of information that others present, and then begin belittling and name calling when that fails. I have been a man and an adult with regard to responding and giving some of you the benefit of the doubt because I know people get impassioned sometimes. I may argue with someones view, but never dismiss them because of it. I am no longshot, and personally find her remarks every bit as childish. I won't even get into that one. I mentioned in another comment about certain people tucking tail and leaving because of their frustration, mainly derived from the gang of attack bloggers who rear their heads together, and I also mentioned I am not one of them. I also stated that you all will not be happy until you can crowd together and form cliques that serve only to make you feel good about yourselves, and that you do so by stroking each others egos and giving delusional high fives like school yard bullies. Drive out those who don't agree and all is well. Maybe so, but that is not, nor will it ever be, my philosophy on life in general. These blogs are no exception.

So, while maybe my words will be dismissed here as well, maybe I will be told again that I am "anal retentive" and maybe even worse, but I do not find solice in having a group of friends online that serve only to help me remain complacent in my narrow views. How is that productive? I just don't get it. So, slam away if you must, but do so understanding that my only intention, ever, was to engage in conversation, present my beleif, allow those beliefs to be questioned for the root of their existence, and allow others to speak their minds as well. Only one person, reverand circus, has ever been dismissed by me, and I think you can't figure that one out.

Ok, so you are focused on longshot, not my other remarks, thats cool.
I am aware of longshots rants. Some time back, maybe 3 or 4 months, she had a blog and I posted something on there. Basicly it suggested that she should calm down, and then I put a little humor behind it adding that "I know its a longshot, but (pun intended)" and she deleted it. I just shook my head and left it alone. I never read anything else of hers until the other day when she put out a "white flag of surrender" blog(use that alot now), and I even went on there and just simply said "you are in my prayers," nothing more, nothing less. Then I get on here today, what do you know, she's back, with a vengeance, and the other post, the sad one, was gone, vanished. My comments were in no way a defense for longshot, only and observation of why she left.

So, trying to justify this radical behavior, from adults, cannot be done. It is simply disappointing and shows that people cannot come on here and speak their minds, with other adults who engage in honest dialogue, albeit opposite in nature. That is life. I am just not that miserable that I need to act that juvenile, period. I like people, all kinds of people. I always give the benefit of the doubt, and I certainly respect others opinions and ideals. Who am I to judge them? While sometimes my curiosity gets the best of me and I question people, I don't do so in a malicious way.
Ignorance and hate are apparent on these blogs, and it is ashame.

as far as my post on longshoot i just wanted her reply before she took it down.

Frankly she is an angry lonely person with a social problem. But i never told anyone to leave.

I will say this i too am tired of having to be PC and refuse to be.
